Tour Reviews
This tour was amazing! Carlos was our guide. His service was superb! Carlos was very friendly and informative. He made us feel at home. He encouraged all who were in our group to get to know each other. It was a lot of fun!
He recommended lunch at Hotel California. It was fantastic!
Another highlight of this tour was the blanket “factory “ . This was a very humble one woman business. She makes her blankets by hand on a wooden apparatus that was operated with her hands and feet. We bought 2 of her blankets. What a great story to share!
Todos Santos a fantastic experience, thank you, Carlos! Our excursion memorable by the stops to glass the blowing factory, Hotel California, Mission, blanket factory & shopping. Servant hospitality from guide Carlos was the absolute best! (and so were those steak & shrimp quesadillas from chef at Hotel California) The day made memorable with engaging conversation, new-found knowledge and the majestic country side drive. Recommend this attraction to everyone!
We took two tours with Tours’R’Fun: a trip to Todos Santos and a snorkeling excursion to Chileno Beach. Both provided an easy way to get out of the resort and experience something a little different.
What we enjoyed:
Our guides Zack and Jose, both seemed knowledgeable about the area and shared that with us. It was particularly interesting to drive through neighborhoods and learn more about life in Mexico for the average person.
The tour buses were comfortable and water was available.
The glass blowing and rug factories provided memorable stops (suggestion for the tour company: one of the gals and I commented that we’d sign up in a second for a tour that included class time doing actual crafting–i.e. making a mug rug on a small loom, a knotting class, jewelry stringing, etc.).
Todos Santos is an interesting town and this gave us a good lay of the land. We enjoyed the tequila tasting in the mercado and Zack’s lunch recommendation (Mi Pueblito) was the best meal we had during our trip to Cabo.
The boat for the snorkeling excursion was a good size and not overly crowded (we chose the “quiet, gentle boat”, the other options given were a party boat and a pirate ship). I didn’t go in the water, but my traveling companions had a great time and declared it the best part of our trip.
Opportunities:
We could do without the visit to Whale’s House–particularly since this was a stop both days. No one in our groups on either day made a purchase and the general comments were that it was wasted time (one of the participants making pointed questions about “so, who are you related to here”).
Taking that out would allow more free time in Todos Santos / more time actually snorkeling in Chileno Beach, both of which would be appreciated.
The lunch situation on the snorkeling trip needs some help–food is not allowed on the top deck, but there are not enough tables on the bottom deck.
We’ve all heard horror stories about accepting a boat “excursion” from random tour operators at the marina (i.e. being held ransom for additional payment away from shore / town), so this option provides a safe chance to get away from the resort at a fair value.
100% recomendable
Nice city to visit. Our driver and tour guide, Mr. Hector Alvarado, was very knowledgeable and nice. Good English.
First off, our driver and guide, the amazing Jose’, made our tour unforgettable. We took the long (11 hour) drive with stops, from Cabo San Lucas to La Paz, over to Todos Santos and back to our timeshare in Cabo SL. Along the way we shared and laughed as Jose’ kept us informed and entertained, pointing out the natural topography features, the history of the areas we visited and allowed us time to wander on our own. We had a wonderful lunch in La Paz, visited the Hotel California in Todos Santos (yeah, that one – ) where he told us the history of that site which we had no idea about. Overall we’d rate our experience a full on TEN out of ten. Highly recommended!!! Oh, and ask for Jose’. He’s the best!

Our tour was amazing Uriel was amazing he was knowledgeable and knew alot of different information he took us to hotel California the food there was really good Uriel and his knowledgade this tour though. It was a great tour I would recommend it to everyone.
We had a great experience today with Hector Alvarado from Tours R Fun. We visited the blanket factory and saw how they make them using a one person loom. Next stop was the Whale House to see how beaded art was made. There was also a flavored tequila tasting. Next stop was Hotel California. We ate lunch across the street at Tequila Sunrise. Great organic food at reasonable prices, and the Damiana Margaritas were excellent. On the way back, we stopped and saw a glass blowing demonstration.
Be sure and ask for Hector on your next trip. He was very helpful in making sure everyone had a great trip. He shared lots of information on the areas we visited in his own special way.
On Saturday, June 9, 2018, four of us booked a tour through Tours R Fun, The glass blowing, blanket making, California Hotel, and shopping in Todos Santos were are wonderful experiences but the best thing about our adventure was Uriel, our tour guide. Uriel’s command of the English language was exemplary and his ability to transition between English and Spanish smoothly was amazing. My friends and I are curious of everything so we asked a plethora of questions that Uriel answered. Not only was Uriel an ambassador of Tours R Fun but one of his country as well. Tours R Fun and Uriel were more than worth the $80. Thanks for our informative and fun adventure. The Las Vegas Golden Girls.

Our tour in La Paz And Todus Santo was awesome. Thanks to Jose Pinson. He’s very knowledgeable and fun. We even won a Pearl to one of our tour in La Paz. Thank you Jose Pinson and keep it up. From Gina and Vince from Minneapolis, Minnesota.
We just finished a great tour with Zacarias, today. He was very friendly and told us everything you could possibly want to know about San Jose los Cabos, Cabo San Lucas, and Todos Santos. This tour is a great way to see the countryside with spectacular views of the Pacific Ocean. Zacharias took us to several local artsans in Todos Santos and an excellent restaurant. We would highly recommend this tour for anyone who wants to learn more about this part of Mexico and meet the local people.
Gracias.
Uriel picked us up from our hotel and took us to Todos Santos. He speaks fluent english and explained us all all about the Mexican culture, history of the town, about Los Cabos, information about different cities/towns on the way to Todos Santos. He also gave us a tour of Todos Santos before giving us one hour for lunch and another 30 mins for shopping/exploring town by ourselves. This whole experience is a 5 star.

We took a day trip to Todos from our hotel in Cabo. It was a wonderful break from resort life and a more authentic experience for my kids to see the true culture of this part of Mexico. Todos is a beautiful little town, the ride is gorgeous this time of year and Jose took great care of us. He is also a WEALTH of knowledge and engaged us all with stories and lots of facts about history, wildlife and of course the Hotel California.
